A HAUNTED HOUSE ART/JUNK TWINE BINDING JOURNAL FOR A VINTAGE JOURNEY

Hello everyone!

I am so excited to announce that I was recently asked by Brenda Brown to do a guest designer spot
for A Vintage Journey.  This was like a homecoming for me as I was one of the original "Creative Crew" when A Vintage Journey launched in February of 2014.

The theme for October is "Journaling with Tim" ... something right up my alley as I have always been a huge fan of Tim Holtz' style and I am currently have so much fun learning, experimenting and creating my own art/junk journals.

I played around with Tim's Artful Dwellings die cuts and created a very dimensional Haunted House cover.  Complete with ghostly visitors, rickety old siding and spooky roof peaks, this book is definitely a one of a kind.  With a combination of some Tim Holtz and DecoArt Media Line products, I had a complete blast making this book and so can you!

Here are a couple of little sneak peaks for you ...

"Knock Knock ....
"Who's There?"
"Doncha."
"Doncha who?"
"Doncha 'witch' you could come in and play?"

Looks like Tim's "Creepy Kids" are stopping by for a visit ...

And what would a Haunted House art journal be
without good ol' Grandma's portrait hanging in the foyer?

For a complete pictorial tutorial on how to create this art/junk journal, head on over to

Happy Fall and Happy Halloween!
